Modern and Neutral Bridal Shower
It all started with a referral…
I came to know my clients through an event planner friend of mine.
By the way, you should definitely check out her work here. She’s amazing!
When I first met the loved ones of the bride to be, I was so blown away by the love they had for her. They wanted the best for her, of course, but more than that, they knew her so well - her style and everything she loved! It made my job so much easier and it made me so excited!
The Concept
The bride loved neutrals & boho, floral yet modern. Everything I love! Here’s our take on it!
The Cakes
Why have one cake when you can have 2? LOL
Can I just say, I love this baker!
Nora from Dollops and Crumbs has been such a joy to work with. Not only is her designs amazing, but she is such a sweetheart. She recently did a vegan wedding cake for another client and she killed it.
Check out her instagram here.

The Venue - The Hill in Closter
I just have to say that this venue was amazing. It was such a beautiful open space. The dining area has this accent fireplace that really brings it together. I definitely wanted to show part of it in the design.
I also came early to setup and happened to meet the owner! What a nice guy! He was so sweet by offering to help me and give me coffee (my love language). He basically said make yourself at home which I loved. Check out their website here.
Meet Stephanie
How beautiful is she?!
Her Experience as a Bride to Be
Like most brides at this moment, she has had to endure a unique wedding season.
Here’s Stephanie on navigating through this time:
“As a bride-to-be during a pandemic, planning a wedding was definitely difficult. We had to think through every "what-if" situation possible. In the end, it felt like we had planned for two weddings (one for if things opened up and another for if things didn't). Regardless of the challenges, Peter (my husband) and I were showered with so much love and support from those around us. Having the support from our community and loved ones made the preparation and planning so special for us.
Here she is on having a bachelorette party:
I wasn't able to travel somewhere for my bachelorette due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, so my bridesmaids rented an Airbnb two hours away from where we lived. Although it wasn't a typical bachelorette, it was definitely filled with lots of laughter and needed quality time with my closest friends after a LONG year!”
It’s been a long year indeed…
Knowing how sweet Stephanie is from her family and friends, we had to make this extra special.
How did we do?
Here is Stephanie after her shower:
“ To shower me with even more love, my bridesmaids went above and beyond with my bridal shower. They took the extra time and care to create the most "Steph-like" shower, and I appreciated every little detail! The decor was perfectly me, from the neutral colors to the brunch theme--I love my neutral palette!
The silver lining in planning a wedding during a pandemic was definitely the love and support from the individuals who have walked alongside us.
Now as Peter and I prepare to walk down the aisle next week, we have full confidence and comfort in knowing that this same support and love will continue to follow and walk beside us as we navigate through the mountaintops and valleys that marriage will bring! We are so excited!!”
Miss to Mrs
Check out our wedding arch that we did for this beautiful couple’s wedding!
Even though it’s been an interesting time for everyone, it’s been so fun to create something special for each person.
I’m so glad I got to meet Stephanie. I mean, we have the similar vibes! I also had the pleasure of meeting her sister Jenn, her bridesmaids, and her family. What a pleasure!
Thanks for tuning in!
Until next time!
